Hi, my name is Steven
I am three years old and my ethnicity is White British
“I love music and singing and like to play with toys that make a noise”
Here’s what other people say about me…
Steven is a lively, fun-loving and caring little boy, with an infectious laugh. He likes to be cuddled and is very affectionate. His face lights up when he sees other children and he really laughs when they are silly with him.
Steven’s carer describes him as a ‘‘loveable little angel’’. He maintains good eye contact and is very vocal, engaging with everyone who meets him. He is now talking all the time, saying “da da”, “ball”, “book”, “Peppa”, “bath”, “car” and more.
He goes to sing-and-sign sessions where he signs along to nursery rhymes. He has support from a speech and language therapist to build his language skills.
Steven has some sight problems which are being monitored; he might have to wear glasses and may need an operation.
Steven is very bright and once he is shown how to do something he remembers for the next time. Steven enjoys his bath time and loves brightly coloured objects.
Steven has been in foster care since the placement with his grandmother broke down when he was 18 months old.
